A client’s packaging is formed from practicality and design. The graphic element is shaped by the brand, the product, and the founder’s original style. In this instance, the three are essentially the same, and Kadaník infused his style into the design, reflected here in his packaging.
Kadaník contacted us with a request to develop the first luxury gift bag for his store. The item he had in mind was sleek and refined, and would also reflect his personal style. His jewellery is one-of-a-kind pieces which are emotive, sentimental, and resonate with the receiver, so like his designs, he desired something classic, but also a little different.
Michal Kadaník has been creating jewellery since he was 16. The first piece he made was a pendant for his mother and in 2005 he began to design his own, combining his love of sketching and jewellery. He is a unique goldsmith with a unique style, and his designs balance the classical with personal artistic expression.
After discussion, a specification was proposed. Clean edges, brilliant white, with a jet-black satin ribbon and Kadaník’s minimalist logo placed in the centre. It is the unusual details that are remembered in design, and so inside the bag, we printed his logo multiple times over, forming an interesting layered pattern to create a geometric-style print.
